The Starke County Government Mobile Food Delivery Service will not be making deliveries on Monday, September 7, 2020 due to the Labor Day holiday. In addition, the Starke County Government Mobile Food Delivery will ending on September 10, 2020. On behalf of Starke County Government it was an honor to serve the citizens of Starke County for these past 5 months.
Starke County is offering delivery of groceries and hot food from local groceries stores and restaurants. The food will be offered at no cost to residents in need.
The program will be open to all Starke County residents who otherwise cannot afford food items as a result of COVID-19 or who are quarantined. Senior citizens being the most vulnerable to COVID-19. This is a great way for them to stay safe during this time.
Someone will need to be home when the delivery comes or the order will be void. We will not leave food on your doorstep with no one there.
We will use a Contactless Delivery. This means we will put the order on your doorstep, ring or knock on the door and back away to a safe distance.
Starting Monday May 18, 2020 Mobile Food Delivery will only run on Monday and Thursday. Orders for Monday deliveries will be accepted on Thursday. Thursday deliveries will be accepted on Monday.
Also each household will be limited to 1 request per week.
This Form will be for Thursday Delivery. The form will only be open from 8am-2pm or till we reach our limits.
